The advanced components inside Xbox make it the undisputed powerhouse among current game consoles. A 733 MHz Intel main processor and 233 MHz graphics processor from industry leader nVidia deliver photorealistic graphics in real time. A cavernous hard drive stores saved games and characters, making flimsy memory sticks obsolete. The built-in Ethernet port enables super-fast multiplayer online gaming over a broadband Internet connection. But Xbox has more going for it than fancy innards. The less time developers spend struggling with the operating system means the more time they spend tweaking gameplay, which ultimately results in better games. And games are what it's all about.

OK, so much for the console war. Being a happy owner of a PS2 console (and many games), and a recent owner of an Xbox system, I can say without any bias that the Xbox is a great system. You all know the hardware facts and the raw power that it possesses, so I won't go into that.
But, and this is a great BUT, the Xbox does not have a good set of games, it is seriously lacking good game titles, and there are none, I mean no game that I am eagerly expecting to have in the near future for Xbox, all the good titles are coming for the PS2 (like Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur 2) or even the Gamecube (Resident Evil). Personally I bought the Xbox just because of Halo and DOA3, that's how much I wanted to play those games.
So you see at the bottomline it's all about games, and believe me I want to make my money worth the price I payed for the system, so Microsoft better give me a good future of games or I will be very dissapointed. That's why I am giving this system 4 stars, for the hope of the good games to come, in a way I am making an investment, and I hope it will pay off.
