Pair them up any way you see fit. The character in front handles driving duties, while the character in the rear doles out damage with six normal items and eight special items that only specific characters can use. Racers can swap places at any time, so switch it up on the fly to make the best use of your items as you tear around curves and over huge elevation changes. Not only that, up to eight players can participate in a linked game using a broadband adapter to hook up game systems and multiple televisions!

Mario Kart: Double Dash is a game for up to 16 players. The karts you ride in can hold 2 players! Here are some secrets I found out! If you want to know more secrets, email me at Jiafuzhan2002@yahoo.com and call the subject 'Secrets'! Here they are:
1)The characters you can choose are: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, DK, Donkey Kong Jr., Bowser, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, Birdo, Koopa, Paratroopa,Waluigi, Wario, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi.
2)You can unlock: Toad, Toadette, King Boo, and Petey Parahna.
3)There are over 18 karts available. Here are some that need to be unlocked: Pipe Kart, Waluigi's Kart, Bullet Bill Kart, Stroller Kart, and many more!
4)The cups are as follow: Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup, Special Cup, and Grand Slam!
5)Luigi's Mansion can also be unlocked!
6)Mirror Mode is also available but needs to be unlocked!
7)If two certain kinds of characters are in one kart, they can use special weapons (like Mario and Luigi, Yoshi and Birdo, etc.).
8)The special kart that you can also get is Toad's Toadworth kart. It is a golden kind of kart that needs to be unlocked!
