I have got this cable after I got a new TV. While the composite video was looking good, I still gave component video a try. Boy, was I surprised. The image quality was MUCH better, colors looked just right and there was no blending or oversaturation.
If your TV features a component input, then this cable is what is missing so you can enhance even further your experience with the PS2. While there is no great shielding on this cable as there is on the cable done by Monster Cable, this one has one nice option missing on the later, audio outputs for who lacks a receiver with optical input (or the whole receiver, like me).
You can't compare at the same level this cable with the one made by Monster Cable, but for half the price and featuring the audio outputs that are needed for TVs or low end/old receivers this cable has a great value for it's price.
