Is it true? Game icon Sonic is zipping around the NEOGEO in a new 2-D adventure? That's right. Untethered from the series' traditional Sega platform, the 20th release (give or take a few imports and rarities) in the Sonic series revives the classic gameplay last seen on the Sega Game Gear hand-held system. But Sonic Pocket Adventure is far from a clone. This version contains new moves, new levels, new baddies, and more for a new generation of gamers.
For those who haven't met the little blue fella, Sonic is a gloved, sneaker-wearing, and quite speedy hedgehog who rolls, leaps, and dashes through numerous levels filled with obstacles, ramps, loops, corkscrews, and all sorts of bashable enemies. Rings are scattered around each level--collecting 100 of them earns an extra life.

This game is so cool! I bought A New Neo Geo Pocket system just so that I could buy this, and I'm glad I did! Sonic Pocket adventure is kinda like Sonic 2( for the sega genesis.)However, this is much more than just a simple re-make of sonic 2! The levels are designed completely different in this game, and The bosses are completely different( In this game you even get to fight Knuckles!, but this time he seems too be much harder than before..) The Music is very good, and is mainly from Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles! The bosses are harder this time than when they were on Sonic 2, and it is easier to die in this game, than in most other sonic games. I really like the fact that when you beat an act or a Zone, it saves your progress, so if you die, you can start again at the level you died at.If you beat an act with at least 50 rings you can go to the special stages and Collect Chaos emeralds.So far I have collected three emeralds. Even though I beat this game In just a couple hours I still think that this game is awesome, really fun, and challenging.( note: I beat it with the Save option.) One awesome feature of this game is the 'Mystery Photos'- the puzzles. There are small puzzle pieces hidden throughout the whole game. Some are difficult to find and some aren't. There are several different photos that you can make with the collected puzzle pieces. I have made one so far of Sonic The Hedgehog!Once You complete a photo, it turns into a colored photo! This game also has a time trial mode, which lets you try to beat your high score record(s). Once You complete an act, they rate you depending on your speed, so you can know how fast you really are!
Buy This game!, Trust me! It's awesome! Much better than Sonic advance will ever be...
