Based on the animated TV series, which itself was based on a live-action prime-time TV series, Sabrina, the Animated Series: Zapped! follows the preteen Sabrina as she tries to fix a spell that's gone wrong: by using her magic to get applause during the school talent show, she accidentally turned the audience into a pack of wild animals. Now, through 20 levels, Sabrina and her cat Salem will have to use quick thinking and unpredictable magic to make things right. Players will switch between Sabrina and Salem, and use each character's abilities to track down each of the animals and zap it back into its former human self.

I underestimated this game when I first tried it. It looked like a boring side-scroller with no innovation or thought put into it whatsoever. I was partly wrong. The story couldn't have been taken more from the series, but the gameplay makes up for the poor plot. It basically is like Mario, 2-d scroller, and the graphics are pretty good. I got pretty bored with this game after a while, because of some increduously angering parts, and the color limitations make some things look smudged with incorrect colors. The sound was ok but I thought sounded too bouncy and drawn out. If you want a pretty good scroller for a pretty good series, buy this game.
